It will be a short entry this week … last Monday I wrote about getting out of first gear; this week we are away with friends and the kids so I’m happy staying in first gear.

I’ve been out in the surf this morning with two of the kids, invigorating or freezing, depending on your perspective. The waves were a bit dumpy but we took the boogey boards out and caught a few nice ones. The adults are having nanna naps … kids are playing board games, a couple of books beckon me.
